Bombay Dry Cleaners takes your privacy seriously. This policy describes what we collect through the booking site, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We never sell your information.

Information We Collect

When you sign up we collect the name, email, and profile picture your Google account exposes. When you place an order we store the pickup and delivery address you enter, the phone number we reach you on, the garments in your basket, and an optional pin drop if you geo-tag the doorstep. Staff accounts store an email address and a hashed password.

How We Use Your Information

We use your details to plan pickups and deliveries, to price and fulfill each order, to send status updates as the order moves through our care ladder, and to answer support questions. Historical order records help us honour warranties and quality claims, and give us the patterns we need to improve routing across Erode.

Google Sign-In

Customers sign in through Google OAuth; we receive only the basic profile fields Google exposes with your consent and never see your Google password. Staff sign in with an internal email-and-password form; those credentials never leave our systems and are stored as salted hashes.

Data Security

All traffic between your device and our servers is encrypted in transit using industry-standard TLS. Order data lives on our managed Postgres database with access restricted to authenticated staff, and every login is logged for audit. We patch our stack routinely and rotate keys when personnel change.

Doorstep Geo-Tagging

When you save an address you may optionally drop a pin on the door your route agent should visit. The coordinates are attached only to the order they support and are never shared with third parties or used for marketing. You can clear the pin from your saved address at any time.

Third-Party Sharing

We do not sell your data, ever. We share limited details with the delivery agent assigned to your order (name, phone, address) and with payment processors when you settle a bill online. Otherwise your information stays inside Bombay Dry Cleaners.

Your Rights

You can view your saved profile and orders from your account page, correct anything that is out of date, or ask us to delete your account and its history. We honour deletion requests within a reasonable window, keeping only the tax and audit records that Indian law requires us to retain.
